Event Registration Refunds
At The Rice Exporters Association C.G. (TREACG), we understand that plans can change. This refund policy applies to all registrations for the India International Rice Summit (IIRS) and related events.
Refund Eligibility
Cancellation Timeline:
- More than 30 days before event: 100% refund (minus processing fees)
- 15-30 days before event: 50% refund
- Less than 15 days before event: No refund available
Refund Processing Timeline
Standard Refund Processing Time:
Once your refund request is approved, the amount will be credited to your original payment method within 5-7 working days. The exact timeline may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
How to Request a Refund
- Send an email to info@thericeexporters.org with subject line "Refund Request - [Your Registration Number]"
- Include your full name, registration number, and reason for cancellation
- Attach a copy of your registration confirmation
- Our team will review your request within 2-3 business days
- You will receive a confirmation email once your refund is approved
Non-Refundable Items
- Payment processing fees (typically 2-3% of transaction amount)
- Special workshop or training fees (if already conducted)
- Merchandise or materials already shipped
- Promotional or discounted tickets (unless otherwise specified)
Event Cancellation by TREACG
In the unlikely event that TREACG cancels or postpones the event:
- You will receive a full 100% refund including all fees
- Refunds will be processed within 5-7 working days of cancellation announcement
- Alternatively, you may opt to transfer your registration to a rescheduled date
Transfer of Registration
If you cannot attend but wish to transfer your registration to another person:
- Transfers are allowed up to 7 days before the event
- Contact us with both parties' details
- A nominal administrative fee of ₹500 may apply
- The new attendee must meet all eligibility criteria

- TREACG reserves the right to modify this policy with prior notice
- Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Anuppur, Madhya Pradesh courts
